David Tapia, is the Operations Leader at Aressana Health, PLLC. David oversees strategy, operations, and growth for the physician-led rehabilitation practice. He partners closely with clinical leadership to expand services across facilities and a clinic specializing in traumatic brain injury recovery and headache management. His focus is on building efficient systems, patient-centered care models, and sustainable business operations. Together with the team, he is advancing whole-person rehabilitation and improving outcomes for the community.

He is nationally recognized and was part of the Innovate Post-Acute educational series and has spoken to thousands of healthcare professionals across the nation. David has been a serial entrepreneur and former Founder of Exegete Healthcare International LLC.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Our Lady of the Lake University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is board-certified in healthcare management. David is also a certified SAFe® Agilist Practitioner, experienced in leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. He is a Director-at-Large on the Board of the South Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

He serves as an Adjunct Professor at Our Lady of the Lake University where he teaches courses in Healthcare Management. David teaches with an emphasis in the principles of servant leadership and sound organizational strategy. Besides consulting and academia, David spends time with his family and spends time on his other passions: coffee, cooking and Aggie football.
